Daily Activities at Home

What are some of the daily activities that you do at home?

I wake up at 7am every morning.
I press the snooze button five times every morning before I turn off the alarm and get up.
I have a cup of coffee and make breakfast. I usually read the newspaper while I have breakfast. My children like to have a shower after they have breakfast but I like to have a shower before I get dressed.
My wife brushes her long hair, and I have short hair so I comb my hair. How do you do your hair in the morning?
It is important to brush your teeth, and some women like to put make-up on.
After I have finished work, I go home to cook dinner. In my house I usually make dinner. The family eat dinner together at 7:30pm.
After dinner I make sure that my children do their homework, and then I chill out on the sofa and watch television. 
On television I usually watch the News. My wife usually comes to tell me to take the rubbish out, or wash the dishes. 
Our children feed the dog and the cat before they go to bed and I tell them to go to the bathroom too.
If I am sick I have to take my medication, but then I get into my pyjamas and set the alarm so I wake up in the morning.
The last things I do is lock the door, turn off the lights, and go to bed.

Me despierto a las 7 am cada mañana.

Tengo una taza de café y preparo el desayuno. Yo suelo leer el periódico mientras tomo el desayuno. Mis niños les gusta tener una ducha después de tener el desayuno, pero me gustaría tener una ducha antes de vestirse.

Mi esposa se cepilla el pelo largo, y tengo el pelo corto, así que me peino. ¿Cómo se hace el cabello por la mañana?

Daily Activities at Work

What are some daily activities that you do at work?

I go to work at 8.45am every morning.
I usually drive to work.
I always check my emails when I get to work, but I don't always reply to them immediately.
I take a taxi or a train if I have a lunch meeting. I never take the bus because it is too slow.
When I am at my desk I usually work on the computer, even during morning tea.
At 1pm most days I have lunch.
At 3pm we have afternoon tea, and that is when we usually talk and eat cake.
When you are in the office you probably have a lot of papers. It is important for you to file your papers, and so that you can find them again you need to organise your files. 
When I work I have to make telephone calls. If an important issue happens I ask my secretary to organise a meeting. 
Once a month I report to my boss, but maybe you have to report to your boss more often. I usually write a document that my boss can read.

Voy a trabajar a las 8.45 todas las mañanas.
Por lo general conducen al trabajo.
Siempre compruebo mis correos electrónicos cuando llegue a trabajar, pero no siempre respondo a ellos inmediatamente.
Puedo tomar un taxi o un tren si tengo una reunión de almuerzo. Nunca tomo el autobús porque es demasiado lento.
Cuando estoy en mi escritorio por lo general trabajo en el equipo, incluso durante el té de la mañana.

I exercise at least three times a week.

I usually go to the gym before work, but sometimes I go after work.

I meditate every morning so that I feel less stressed during the day.

Weekly Activities

What are some weekly activities that you do?

I go grocery shopping once a week at the local supermarket.

My family does the housework together every Saturday morning.

I usually do the washing on Sunday morning and when the machine is finished I hang the clothes out to dry.

On Sunday morning we go to church, and if there is lots of noise coming from next door, sometimes we fight with the neighbour.

On Saturday night my parents stay at home and I go out with friends.

Even my friends that live at home call their parents each week.

Every evening, I water the garden.

I usually pay someone to wash the car, but my partner says I should do it, so sometimes I argue with my partnerabout that.

If we are angry at the neighbour, we seek vengeance by annoying his dogs. 

I work in an important office, so I have to shine my shoes each day.

Sometimes we hire a movie, because we don't like to illegally download music and films. I make sure that I synchronise my iPod so I always have new music on it.

To get our shopping, we go to the mall in the car.

Last week I forgot to recharge my travel card, and I had to argue with a bus driver. I couldn't call the office because I forgot to recharge my cellphone!

¿Cuáles son algunas de las actividades semanales que haces?
Voy al supermercado una vez por semana en el supermercado local.
Mi familia hace las tareas del hogar juntos cada sábado por la mañana.
Yo suelo hacer la colada en el domingo por la mañana y una vez finalizada la máquina cuelgo la ropa a secar.
El domingo por la mañana nos vamos a la iglesia, y si hay un montón de ruido procedentes de al lado, a veces nos peleamos con el vecino.
El sábado por la noche mis padres se quedan en casa y salir con amigos.
Incluso mis amigos que viven en casa llaman a sus padres cada semana.
Cada noche, regar el jardín.
Por lo general paga a alguien para lavar el coche, pero mi pareja dice que debería hacerlo, así que a veces discuto con mi pareja acerca de eso.
Si estamos enfadados con el vecino, buscamos la venganza por sus perros molestos.
Yo trabajo en una oficina importante, así que tengo que brillar mis zapatos cada día.
A veces contratamos una película, porque no nos gusta para descargar ilegalmente música y películas. Me aseguro de que puedo sincronizar mi iPod así que siempre tengo nueva música en él.
Para obtener nuestras compras, vamos al centro comercial en el coche.

La semana pasada se olvidó de recargar mi tarjeta de viaje, y tuve que discutir con un conductor de autobús. No podía llamar a la oficina porque se me olvidó recargar mi móvil!

My Daily routines. Mi rutina diaria de Lunes a viernes en Ingles. Good morning. My name´s Diego Hernando Torres Valencia. I am a Systems Engineer. I wake up at four o'clock every morning. I press the snooze button two times every morning before I turn off the alarm and get up. When I get up I like to open the window to let in the fresh air of the day. At five past four I make the bed. At ten past four I Brush my teeth, I take a shower, and I shave my beard, At fifteen past four I get dressed, and I combs my hair. At twenty past four, I have a cup of coffee and make breakfast. I usually read the newspaper while I have breakfast. I go to work in my motorcycle. I get to work at seven o'clock. When I am in the office you probably have a lot of papers. When I work I have to make telephone calls. Once a month I report to my boss, but maybe I have to report to my boss more often. I usually write a document that my boss can read. At one o'clock P.M. most days I have lunch. I buy lunch at a restaurant near work. Also, I take a little nap after of lunch every day. At six o'clock, after I have finished work, I go home to cook dinner. In my house I usually make dinner.  The family eat dinner together at seven thirty. After dinner I make sure that my children do their homework, and then I chill out on the sofa and watch television. On television I usually watch the News. My wife usually comes to tell me to take the rubbish out, or wash the dishes. My house is near to the park. Sometimes at night I going to the park to play sports, I like to play football with my friends. If I am sick I have to take my medication, but then I get into my pajamas and set the alarm so I wake up in the morning. Every day I take my favorite book: The Bible and read to learn more about God, this book I will read it forever because I love it. Then I pray and thank God for all the blessings he has given me on this day. The last things I do is lock the door, turn off the lights, and go to bed, and then I lie down to sleep.

Mi rutina diaria de Lunes a viernes en Español. Buenos días. Mi nombre es Diego Hernando Torres Valencia. Soy ingeniero de sistemas. Me levanto a las cuatro de la mañana. Pulso el botón de repetición dos veces cada mañana antes de apagar la alarma y me levanto. Cuando me levanto me gusta abrir la ventana para que entre el aire fresco del día. A las cuatro y cinco hago la cama. A las cuatro y diez me lavo los dientes, me ducho, me afeito la barba, A las cuatro y cuarto me visto, y yo me peino el cabello. A las cuatro y veinte tengo una taza de café y preparo el desayuno. Yo suelo leer el periódico mientras tomo el desayuno. Voy a trabajar en mi motocicleta. Llego a trabajar a las siete en punto. Cuando estoy en la oficina es probable que tenga un montón de papeles. Cuando trabajo tengo que hacer llamadas telefónicas. A las seis en punto, después de que haya terminado el trabajo, me voy a casa a preparar la cena.  En mi casa por lo general preparo la cena. La familia cenamos juntos a las siete y media. Después de la cena me aseguro de que mis hijos hagan sus tareas, y luego relajarme en el sofá y ver la televisión. En la televisión suelo ver las noticias. Mi esposa por lo general viene a decirme que saque la basura, o lave los platos. Mi casa está cerca del parque. A veces por la noche voy al parque a hacer deporte, me gusta jugar fútbol con mis amigos. Si estoy enfermo tengo que tomar mi medicamento, pero luego me meto en mi pijama y establecer el modo de alarma para despertarme en la mañana. Cada día tomo mi libro favorito: La Biblia y leo para aprender más acerca de Dios, este libro lo leeré para siempre, porque lo amo. Entonces yo oro y doy gracias a Dios por todas las bendiciones que me ha dado en este día. Las últimas cosas que hago es cerrar la puerta, apagar las luces, e ir a la cama y entonces me acuesto a dormir.
